Complete Homes has been renovating Gold Coast kitchens since William started the business in 1985. It is still family-owned and run today by his son Fouad. We do full kitchen renovations — not resurfacing, not door swaps. The decisions that matter most
Layout before finishes
Most people start with a tile or a benchtop they have seen. We start with where you stand when you cook, where the bins go, and whether the fridge door blocks the walkway. Get the layout right and a modest finish looks excellent. Get it wrong and no benchtop saves it.
Storage you will actually use
Deep drawers beat low cupboards. Pantry depth matters more than pantry width. We would rather spend your money on internal fit-out than on decorative detail you stop noticing after a month.
Ventilation
Gold Coast humidity is unforgiving. Extraction sized properly and ducted outside, not recirculating, makes a real difference to how a kitchen wears.
Opening the kitchen to living
A large share of the kitchens we renovate involve removing a wall between the kitchen and living area. That is structural work, and it needs engineering, correct beam sizing and proper footings — not a guess and a hope. We handle the engineering and certification as part of the job.
How long it takes
A kitchen renovation is disruptive in a way most people underestimate, because you lose the room the household runs on. We program it tightly and tell you honestly how long you will be without a working kitchen. Timelines depend on scope, joinery lead times and whether structural work is involved.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you just replace the doors and benchtop?
No. We do not do door replacements, refacing or benchtop-only swaps. We do full kitchen renovations, because that is the only way to fix a layout that is not working — and the layout is usually the real problem. If a cosmetic update is genuinely all you need, a resurfacing specialist will serve you better than we will.
Do we have to move out?
No. Most clients stay and set up a temporary kitchen elsewhere in the house. We will help you plan that before we start.
Can we supply our own appliances?
Yes. Tell us early so the joinery is built to the right dimensions.
